The 4 Horsemen

Daniel Dennett, Richard Dawkins, Christopher Hitchens and Sam Harris discuss and debate their views in this 12 part video. The most interesting sections are when these guys disagree, which is usually spurred on by that snarky contrarian Hitchens. But the cordiality of discourse is exemplary.

I just re-read my description. Sometimes I wonder if I use convoluted diction to distract from my own intellectual shortcomings. Don't I wind up sounding like a jackass when I write that way?

A friend of mine is putting together some videos for Dawkins website. No money, but free DVDs. Just wanted to make you jealous.

As for the video, god damn is Hitchens one detestable mother fucker, while Daniel Dennett continues to impress me. Dawkins point on artistic taste is lost on me, since I probably get as, if not more, offended when someone rejects my taste in the arts (particularly music) as your average person would be offended by a slant against their faith. We all have our buttons and in this sense I don't think religion is a unique psychological phenomenon.

Oh and yes, I fear your voracious verbosity makes readily apparent your latency in intellectual fortitude. You jackass.
